Con Encounters

REVELATIONS once again takes center stage at Farpoint, a major East Cost science fiction convention.

For a full hour before the main convention speakers appear, REVELATIONS cast and crew will host a panel in the main ballroom, sharing behind the scenes stories and drumming up interest in the film. Slated to attend are director/actor Shane Felux, director of photography Jack Foley, producer/writer/costumer Dawn Cowings, writer/costumer Sarah Yaworsky, actors Gina and Frank Hernandez, actor Karen Hammang, fight choreographer/actor Nick Jamilla, and CG artist Zaf Mustafa (attendees subject to change without notice).

The writing and casting process will be discussed and the logistics of running such a large project will be described. Nick and Shane will give a brief fight demo. Costumes and props will be displayed as well as some behind the scenes photos. At the end of the hour, the new trailer will be screened. A question and answer session in another room will follow immediately afterward.

The REVELATIONS panel is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 14. The trailer will also be screened that evening as part of the Masquerade half-time entertainment.

The con runs February 13-15, 2004 at Marriott’s Hunt Valley Inn, Hunt Valley, MD. A full account of the REVELATIONS panel and reaction to the trailer will appear in the March Extra.
